Trust & Safety

Trust and safety are fundamental to how we design, build, and operate our digital platforms, including A-Pay, A-Sign, and ADR.

At Annapurna Tech Universe (ATU) ("we", "our", "us"), trust and safety are fundamental to how we design, build, and operate our digital platforms, including A-Pay, A-Sign, and ADR.

We are committed to providing secure, transparent, and reliable digital experiences across payments, digital signing, and data-driven services, while ensuring responsible use of technology and protection of user interests.

1. User Protection and Fair Practices

ATU is committed to ensuring that users across all platforms:

  • Receive clear, accurate, and relevant information
  • Are protected from misleading or unfair practices
  • Have access to support and grievance redressal mechanisms
  • Experience services in a fair and consistent manner

Our approach prioritises user trust, transparency, and accountability.

2. Platform and Transaction Safety

Across our platforms:

  • A-Pay: Enables structured digital payment journeys such as bill payments and EMI collections through authorised networks
  • A-Sign: Facilitates secure and paperless digital signing workflows
  • ADR: Supports responsible use of data for decisioning and service enablement

We implement safeguards to:

  • Ensure secure processing of user actions
  • Minimise errors and operational risks
  • Maintain integrity of transactions and workflows

3. Data Protection and Privacy

ATU follows a privacy-first approach across all its products.

We ensure that:

  • Personal information is collected only for defined and legitimate purposes
  • Data usage is aligned with our Privacy Policy
  • Appropriate safeguards are implemented to protect user data
  • Data sharing is restricted to authorised partners and only where necessary
  • Data is stored only in India.

4. Fraud Prevention and Risk Monitoring

We implement internal controls and monitoring mechanisms to:

  • Detect suspicious or unusual activity
  • Prevent unauthorised access or misuse of services
  • Safeguard users and platform integrity

Any identified risks are handled through defined processes and corrective actions.

5. Secure Access and User Responsibility

All transactions require multi-factor authentication. For example, A-Pay users must provide at least two of: device authentication (biometric or device PIN), UPI PIN, and app password. A session token is device-bound to prevent cloning.

Users play an important role in maintaining account safety. Users are advised to:

  • Keep login credentials, OTPs, and sensitive information confidential
  • Use only official ATU platforms and communication channels
  • Avoid sharing personal or financial information with unknown sources
  • Regularly update applications for security enhancements

ATU will never request sensitive information such as passwords or OTPs through unsolicited communication.

6. Partner and Ecosystem Controls

ATU collaborates with authorised partners and service providers to deliver its services.

ATU's partners (banks, data providers, and service vendors) must sign Security & Data Protection agreements. ATU will conduct due diligence (security questionnaires and audits) before onboarding any partner.

We ensure that:

  • Partners adhere to defined security and data protection standards
  • User data is processed only for permitted purposes
  • Service delivery aligns with applicable guidelines and obligations

ATU reserves the right to audit partners and suspend services if they violate security or compliance requirements.

7. User Awareness and Education

We actively promote awareness to help users stay informed.

This includes:

  • Guidance on safe digital practices
  • Awareness of common fraud risks and prevention measures
  • Responsible usage of digital services

Relevant information may be shared through our platforms from time to time.

8. Reporting Concerns

Users can report concerns related to:

  • Suspicious activities or fraud
  • Account or data security
  • Service misuse or discrepancies

Reports can be raised via:

All concerns are reviewed and addressed through defined internal processes.

9. Continuous Monitoring and Improvement

ATU continuously evaluates and enhances its systems to:

  • Strengthen security and risk controls
  • Improve platform reliability
  • Adapt to evolving technology and regulatory expectations
  • Enhance overall user trust and experience

10. Updates to Trust & Safety Framework

This Trust & Safety framework may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our services, technology, or regulatory environment. Updated versions will be published on our website and platforms. Users will be notified of substantive changes affecting their data or rights.
