2. About Annapurna Tech Universe

Annapurna Tech Universe Private Limited is a technology platform that facilitates access to digital financial and payment-related services including, but not limited to:

• Loan repayment services
• BBPS bill payments
• Utility bill payments and mobile recharges
• Insurance or other financial product integrations as may be introduced
• Other technology-enabled financial services
• Other value added services

ATU operates as a technology service provider and intermediary platform and may collaborate with banks, NBFCs, payment gateways, insurance companies, government systems, and other regulated entities. ATU does not operate as a bank, NBFC, or insurance company unless explicitly stated.

3. Eligibility and Registration

To use our Services:

• You must be at least 18 years of age.
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• You must provide accurate, complete, and updated information.
• You must comply with all applicable Indian laws and regulations.

We reserve the right to verify your identity and to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.

4. User Account & Security

You may be required to register and create an account to access certain Services.
You are responsible for :

• Maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Ensuring that all information provided is accurate.
• Immediately notifying us of unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Safeguarding OTPs, passwords, and sensitive financial details.

ATU shall not be liable for losses arising due to negligence in safeguarding account credentials.

5. Description of Services

ATU provides a digital platform to facilitate payments and financial transactions through authorized partners.
Important Clarifications :

• Approval of loans, insurance, or other financial products is solely at the discretion of the respective partner institution.
• Transaction success depends on third-party banking systems, payment networks, and biller platforms.
• ATU only facilitates the technical interface for transaction initiation.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free services at all times.

6. Payments, Fees & Refunds

• Users must carefully verify transaction details before confirming payment.
• Any applicable convenience fees, service charges, or taxes will be displayed prior to transaction confirmation.
• In case of failed transactions where funds are debited but the service is not completed, refunds will be processed as per the policies of the respective bank or payment partner.
• Refund timelines may vary depending on banking networks and payment intermediaries.

ATU is not responsible for delays caused by external financial institutions.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users agree not to:

• Engage in fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized transactions.
• Use the platform for money laundering or financial misconduct.
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, disrupt, or damage the platform.
• Provide false information or impersonate another person.
• Use automated systems such as bots or scripts to access the platform.

Violation may result in suspension, termination, and legal action.

8. Third-Party Services and Links

Our platform integrates with and may redirect users to third-party providers, including :

• Banks and NBFCs
• Insurance companies
• Billers and utilities
• Payment gateways
• Government platforms
• Other value added service providers.

ATU does not control or assume responsibility for third-party services, content, policies, or performance.

Users are encouraged to review third-party terms and privacy policies separately.ATU holds the right to deboard any third-party service providers with prior intimation to the clients and thereafter the client having any ongoing transactions, holdings or disputes needs to be handled directly with the third-party service provider directly.

9. Data Privacy & Security

We collect, process, and store personal data in accordance with:

• The Information Technology Act, 2000
• Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
• Applicable RBI and NPCI regulatory guidelines

Your data may be used for:

• Providing and improving services
• Transaction processing
• Fraud detection and prevention
• Regulatory compliance
• Customer support

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user information.

Note: Users must exercise due diligence while using the platform. Users must not share OTPs, passwords, PINs, or any sensitive financial information with anyone, including ATU representatives. ATU shall not be responsible for losses arising due to phishing, social engineering, or user negligence. Users are advised to immediately report any unauthorized transaction within 24 hours to minimize potential losses.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ATU shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
• Loss of profits, business interruption, or data loss.
• Delays or failures due to third-party service providers.
• Network failures, system outages, or force majeure events.
• Losses arising from incorrect transaction details entered by users.

In any case, ATU's total liability shall not exceed the amount of the transaction giving rise to the claim.

11. Suspension, Restriction & Termination

ATU reserves the right to:

• Suspend accounts involved in suspicious or high-risk transactions.
• Block transactions that violate regulatory or internal risk policies.
• Terminate services without prior notice in case of misuse.

We may also suspend services for maintenance, system upgrades, or compliance requirements.

12. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the website and applications, including but not limited to logos, software, branding, text, graphics, and interface design, are the exclusive property of Annapurna Tech Universe Private Limited.

Unauthorized use, copying, or reproduction is strictly prohibited.

13. KYC Verification

Certain services may require completion of KYC (Know Your Customer) as per regulatory requirements. ATU reserves the right to restrict or suspend services in case of incomplete or non-compliant KYC.

14. Account Inactivity

ATU reserves the right to deactivate or restrict accounts that remain inactive for an extended period, subject to applicable regulations.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ATU, its directors, employees, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of:

• Your misuse of the Services.
• Breach of these Terms.
• Violation of applicable laws.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

17. Amendments

ATU reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.

Updated Terms will be published on our website. Continued use of the Services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
